Given that it is currently 4:30 in the morning (and i have already been up for over 1/2 an hour), please forgive me if i am not overly coherent.
As everyone would know, yesterday was mothers' day. My sister decided to organise a picnic afternoon tea to celebrate, however, due to the overcast weather we decided just to have afternoon tea at their place. While most of the afternoon was spent sitting around, talking and eating coffee and date loaf (another good idea of Katie's), my brother Tim's present for Mum triggered another activity. Tim gave mother a small chrysanthemum plant - which Mother decided needed to be planted straight away, so we all trooped outside to do this (i just watched and took photos).
Katie digging the hole.
Tim's turn to help.
Mum and Dad putting the new plant in the hole.
Tim waters it.
The end result - Mother is very happy :-)
Other good things that happened on mothers' day"
- Ron decided that i needed a "mother-to-be" present (of the chocolate variety :-D) which was very much appreciated.
- Mum decided to reveal all the bits and pieces she had been accumulating for Bub (which included clothes, nappy covers, blankets and two handmade rugs (one by her and one by Nanna) which were both wonderful. These were all very much appreciated (although, because there was sooooo much stuff we told her she was not allowed to buy anymore stuff for Bub (which she agreed too until such time as Bub is born)).
Hmmmm..... it's now a bit after 5am - time for some breaky.

awww sounds like a lovely mother's day - your family is so close-knit :o)
I always wonder what it would be like to grow up in a Christian family and to know God from a very young age.
Yeah, that was a fun day, I'm glad you didn't post the photos of me falling asleep on the couch :) Evidently digging that hole was tiring.
