9 months - it's a wonderful age

Abi is a bit over 9 months old now. It's such a great age. There are so many things that she can now do, such as signing "finished" when she has had enough food, attempting to copy some sounds like banana (na-na), teddy and sock (ock, which is also used for block), and feed herself finger food. As of a week and a half ago, she is also "forwards" mobile (i.e. she can now crawl forwards instead of sliding around backwards on her belly). She has also (finally) doubled her birth weight :-).

One of her favorite toys is this mixing bowl. She loves putting it on her head and taking it off again, as well as holding it up to her face and talking into it.

Yes, we definitely have to catch up soon :-). Traveling to uni is difficult at the moment as Abi is no longer content to sit in the pram and watch everything, but also not up to being left with anyone as she still has 4 milk feeds a day.
