The wildlife park

Last week we decided to visit the wildlife park. We had originally thought of going to the Zoo, but a friend of ours suggested that Abi would probably like the wildlife park better as she would be able to pat and feed some of the animals. So we spent a very enjoyable morning at the wildlife park. The animals that we could feed and pat were very tame (with the exception of the grumpy duck that bit Ron and anyone else who tried to get near it). We also managed to find several little plastic animals at the gift shop to add some Australian animals to Abi's collection. The following are a selection of photos from the day.

A whole park full of real animals and all she wants to do is play on the plastic ones (she eventually agreed to keep walking and see the real animals).

Abi and Ron feeding a wallaby.

These ones had a warning that they like to bite so we didn't feed them.

Since seeing this, Abi has wanted to carry her teddies around in a "pouch".

The wildlife park also has koalas that you can hold (but Abi was happy just to pat one).
