As we had friends staying with us on saturday night (who very nicely cooked a really yummy dinner for us) we decided it was time to make another lemon meringue pie. After one disaster in making the filling (i forgot the sugar, which we fortunately realised before we put it in the base and had time to try again after a quick trip to the supermarket) we eventually ended up with this:
It was a big hit with everyone who was older than 4 :-)
On Sunday afternoon we decided to visit my parents. Dad is continually getting better, although he still gets tired very quickly and is quite uncomfortable. While we were there, Mum decided it was time for us to take the train set to our house (in preparation for Bub's arrival of course :D ). This train set has been gradually accumulated since i was very little, and since Ron and I were going to have my parents first grandchild i called dibs on the train set. Ron and I decided to test it out this evening. Its good fun.
