Woot - i have internet again :-)

After nearly two weeks without either a landline phone or internet connection the repairman finally managed to fix it today :-). Despite the fact that the phone died during a storm, the repairman reckons that they forgot to connect my house when they laid new wires - go figure. Maybe i had still been connected to old wires which got taken out by the storm.

Anyway, not much to say, life goes on. I don't really get to do much apart from look after Abi - who sometimes has days when she sleeps really well and sometimes has very awake and fussy days. Today is a reasonable balance - she slept well on the walk to and from the community health nurse (took me a good 20-25 min to get there) and is asleep again now.

I remembered one more name we have for Abi - bumble-bee - for when she has a bumble-bee-bottom (a cloth nappy). She also gets the usual names for a little baby girl - precious, princess, little lady, and buba-girl (because it sounds a bit like Abigail).

Abi is growing well - weighed in at 5.6 kg this morning and measured 59 cm. She is starting to fit some 00 clothes - and may even need some 0 size pants to fit over her bumble-bee-bottom.
