Have patience, have patience, don't be in such a hurry ....

Bub has not arrived yet :-(. She (he) will sometime in the next 17 days (as that is the point when they will induce labour). Until then, i just have to practice being patient and not wonder whether labour is starting every time i feel a slight twinge in my belly (as it is usually just Bub stretching, which is quite painful at times). So i keep singing the "have patience" song. It's from the "music machine" kids story and songs that me and my siblings use to listen to as kids. The have patience song is about a little snail that liked going too fast and his Dad who sings the chorus part of the song to him. Its only the chorus that i remember - but it has to be sung in a deep snail voice. "Have patience, have patience, don't be in such a hurry. When you get impatient you only start to worry. Remember, remember, that God is patient too and think of all the times when others have to wait for you."

We just got back from the doctors. My platelet count remains just below 100 (its 93 on yesterdays test) so all is good. Bub's heart beat is strong and good. We just have to patiently wait until Bub decides its time to be born.

Waiting is one of the hardest parts I reckon!! Glad all is going well, hang in there, soon she'll (he'll) be in your arms and you won't be able to remember life without her. :)
